Greetings to all of my family and friends,                                   August 2006                                  Location of Karluk

Why this letter? I need lots of prayers.

I would like to ask for prayer coverage for my trip into a village called Karluk. This village has a lot of spiritual darkness. As I understand it this village is perhaps the worst of all the villages around Kodiak. There is a lot of alcohol and drug abuse plus I am sure there are all kinds of other abuses i.e. sexual abuse, pornography, child neglect, etc. I will be a part of a team of people that will be spending a week with these folks. We will be sharing the gospel with them, and I will be trying to bring deliverance from all kinds of bondages, through the workings of the Holy Spirit.  I do know that there is a lot of bitterness between families and individuals through out the village, which has been going on for years. From all that I have heard the evil one is firmly established in this village.

My prayer requests are;

• That the Lord will prepare the hearts of all these people to receive the Good News of the gospel.
• That He will cause all of us that will be on the team to have Holy Spirit boldness.
• That the Lord Jesus Christ will reveal His will and purposes to us through out the week, and that He will be glorified through all of our efforts.
• That revival and spiritual awakening will be poured out by the Holy Spirit in this village, and that it will spread throughout all of Kodiak Island, Alaska, Canada, the United States and throughout the entire world.
• That all the children will hear about Jesus and  have the opportunity to receive Jesus into their hearts as they attend Bible Camp at Camp Woody this week. Pray that the children will truly be blessed.

I would like to thank each one of you for all your prayers from the past. The Lord has answered all of your prayers for me and my ministries in a mighty and wonderful way. This particular prayer letter is very close to my heart because this mission that I am on is straight from the Lord. I have been under very heavy spiritual attack from the evil one, especially for my physical health. My commitment and desire to complete this task is very high, and I am looking forward with great anticipation for the Lord’s movement in and through the team’s efforts in the field.
