Cherie Woitel After School Teacher/Day Camp Counselor Cherie is a life long Alaskan. Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Moved to Kodiak in 1992. Majored in Elementary Education at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma Washington. Has served as a volunteer in extended care facilities, elementary classrooms, hospitals and Sunday School teaching. Spent the last 20 years working in the administrative field with a heavy emphasis on customer service. Cherie is a self-proclaimed people person! Loves to laugh! Married for 17 years and has been blessed with the precious gift from God, their son Derek! Cherie likes to swim, play tennis, read, sing, camp, fish, walk on the beach and spend time with her family and friends. Favorite Bible verse: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
