Helen Rose Bookkeeper Helen came to Kodiak in 1989 with husband Eddie, then a commercial fisherman, and sons, Nathan and Greg. They love the mountains and beaches of Kodiak, and the many opportunities for adventures on this beautiful island. She accepted a temporary, part-time position as an assistant bookkeeper at the Kodiak Baptist Mission, in April of 2009. Through lots of prayer, after two years, she has “dropped anchor” on KBM. The energy of the young adults working with the children, and their enthusiasm for sharing the knowledge and love of Jesus with children is a great inspiration to her.
